U20 XV v Old Belvedere (A) – 03.11.2019

St Marys U20s took on Old Belvedere in Ollie Campbell Park.

Within the first Ten minutes Loris Nikolov got over the line and captain Sean Bourke converted the two points. A few minutes afterwards we had a penalty which came off the post and Old Belevere counter attacked and scored a try. Leaving the score 7-7. Two more quick try’s for St Marys before halftime leaves the score at 17-7. Luke Mannion and Tim MacMahon  were two scorers.

After a tense first twenty minutes of the second half, we end to end play but no scores. Michael McEvoy gets over the line securing the bonus point. Then Luke Mannion runs in for his second which Donal McAuliffe converting it. 

St Marys U20s win 29-12 with a bonus point. The 20s are now second in the league one point behind Dublin University. Next game is against Corinthians in Templeville Road on Sunday at 2:30pm.
