Last weekend brought a clash of game times for our J3/J4 teams. Our J4 squad faced a tough task travelling to Tullamore in the battle of first v second in Division 8. Our J4 squad got well organised from early in the week in preparation for this game organising buses and sorting players to be available, which is the behind the scenes work all necessary to make junior rugby games happen.

Our J4 squad met a tough and well rounded tullamore squad with the game ending in favour of the home team. However given the determination and commitment of this squad the players now move onto a game in hand in Tempeville this weekend against Stillorgan with only a point between Mary’s and Tullamore.

Thanks to all the players that made the arrangements to make this game and to Fran and John for travelling to Tullamore with the team, also thanks to the supporters that travelled down.

We hope to see you all this coming weekend in Tempeville.
