                                              J5 XV 50-10 Wanderers

On Saturday the J5’s took on Wanderers at home. Wanderers only arrived down with 13 players so we had to go with 13 against 13.

Despite this the lads managed to keep themselves focus and get an early try on the board through full back Dan McEvoy. That set up the pattern of how this game would continue. In all we went over for 8 tries on the day. The game was a bit scrappy at times but the result is what mattered.

This result see the J5’s go top of the league for the first time. Next up in the league is a tough away trip on Friday week to Lakelands to play the neighbours.

Scorers:
Tries – D McEvoy, M Daly (3), G Crawford, A Malone, P Travers and T Makondo.
Conv – G Crawford (4) and A Malone.

13 Daniel McEvoy, 12 Shane Levins, 11 Gary Crawford, 10 Michael Daly, 9 Marco Pietri, 8 Andy Fitzpatrick, 7 Kieran Morrissey, 6 Anthony O’Hanlon, 5 James Hynes, 4 Eamonn Walsh, 3 Jody Brooks, 2 Steve Walkin, 1 Hugh Lyons.
