On Saturday the J5’s were down in Lakelands for the Local Derby game against a strong Terenure side.
We knew this would be a tough game for us. Straight away we got stuck into it. There was plenty of big hits put in early on. Some great work saw us go over for an early try. We held the lead up to just before half time. In the last play of the half Terenure went in for try to take the lead 8-5.
Unfortunately Terenure came out the stronger in the second and got another score. We battled hard for the rest of the half. We were unlucky to concede another 2 tries. Game finished 35-5 to Terenure.
Next up is a home game against Clontarf on the 5th November at home. The team is progressing well. It is a feeder team this season to our J4 “B” team. A win in our next game will ensure we can move ourselves into mid table.
