St. Mary’s College J2 14 Naas J1 8
The newly promoted J2s played their first game in Division 2 on Sunday and had a hard fought win against a Naas team that topped the league table last year, losing out on promotion in a play-off. The foundation for the win was laid by our pack who did very well in the set piece, using the maul to great effect against a big Naas side. The maul delivered a great team try in the first half and Ciarán Murphy kicked very well from the tee to secure the win. Next up is a trip to Boyne which is new territory for us all.
