The game started brightly for Bective but within 10 mins St Mary’s Pennant took complete control of the game.   About tweleve minutes into the match an excellent try from Ryan O’Loughlin saw Mary’s take the lead.  Shortly after followed up by a well taken try by Alan McNamara, converted by Tim Ryan – 12 – 0 to Mary’s.   After the re-start Bective scored a try which was converted.  12 – 7.     Marys again took control of the game and after some great work by out-half Tim Ryan he followed it up with an excellent try which Tim converted.   19 – 7.    Mary’s continued to control the game and at half time the score board was 19  – 7 to Mary’s.

The second half started with an eary try by Conor Neville, converted by Tim Ryan,  26 -7.    Shortly after Mark Darby scored his first of three trys, one after another – two of which were converted by Tim Ryan.     Score now 45 – 7.

Two very late trys from Bective brought the score to 45 – 17.
