St Marys RFC v Blackrock. 31/ 12

A very good allround performance by the pennant side.
We went behind 7 /0  after 10 mins after pilling on all the pressure in the Blackroch half. Just after conceedingthe the try we lost our full back Matt Dem psey with a shoulder injury. He was replaced by Steve Daly. Then after 25 mins we got our first try of the game scored by Cormac Tracey. Half time score was 7/ 5 to rock.
Blackrock lost one of there front row so the scrums where un contested for the rest of the game.

At the start of the second half we gave all the subs a run. And playing with the wind at our backs we took control of the game by spreading the ball wide to the wingers. The pack also played their  part winning their line outs and the rucks. Our centre Ross Wynn scoring two superb tries from inside his own half and two more tries followed by James Spears and David Daly.  Blackrock scored a late try to make the score 31 /12 to Marys.
(5 tries and 3 conversions too  2tries and  1 conversion)
Well earned, well deserved win by Marys.
