Results come from the season round-up printed in the club's membership book for the following season (2), the Leinster Rugby results archive (1). Where the Leinster record has a game, its score and date are used.
Membership Book 2024-25 lists the Guilfoyle-James R1 as 'Clontarf 47-19 St. Mary's, Castle Ave'; Leinster has St. Mary's College RFC 6 as nominal home team (19–47) with the game switched to Castle Avenue – same score
The J5 was relaunched for 2023/24 as a friendlies side rather than a league entry, as most of the players interested wanted no more than about six games in the season.
The J5 entered the Guilfoyle-James Cup (Metro J6) as St. Mary's College RFC 6. In the first-round tie at Clontarf (03/04/2024) the side was captained on the day by Alan McPhillips, with David Balfour as vice-captain.
The 2024 O'Connor Cup (St. Mary's 19–10 Bective Rangers on 26/04/2024, per Leinster Rugby; the club's own records give 19–12) was won by the club's J4, not the J5.

Need to get a bagman for the team to look after all the gear etc.

May/June 2024 – trip
1. First Game
I have confirmed the first game for Friday 6th October 2023 at 8pm against the SilverBacks.
I have agreed with Lorcan we will try push for the main pitch for the game as it would be a big draw for both teams. I have already submitted a request to Alan in relation to this. Note it may be on a weather permitting basis as there is a home AIL game the next day.
1. Other Games
I will start contacting clubs to get other games organised.
Lorcan is also to back to me if any other day suits for another game.
If requests come in from touring teams we can look at added these games in.
1. Training
Ideally were possible, there will be one training session the week of a game. May not always be possible due to people’s availability. However, could just get people to link up with Vets for their tag to get a run out before the game.
1. Post Games
After each game, players and opposition players should be encouraged to stay around in the bar after games, even if they are not planning to drink.
This is to help build up the social side of this team.
1. End of Season
This team will play in the D.P. Smyth Blitz.
To finish off the season, we will try round off with a game away and an overnight trip.
1. Subscriptions
We have approval from the Club for this team. However, there is just one stipulation. The Club have requested that all players participating must be paid up members of the club with no exceptions.
This is very important on Insurance grounds.
1. WhatsApp Group
I will set up a team WhatsApp group and include the link to enter the group with the registration details.
1. Going Forward After this season
It can be assessed near the end of the season whether we look at having this team as a League team or just continue in the same format as this season. However, the aim will be to run this team either way next season.
1. Registration Details
The following information will be going out to get players to sign up for this team:
