Where the current J4/J5 story begins. There was no J5 league yet, so the J5s' competitive rugby was the O'Connor Cup, lost 17–19 away to CYM in the second round, and the D.P. Smyth J5 Blitz, where they reached the final.

The 2006-07 membership book lists Maurice Davin as Junior 5 Captain; no J5 fixtures had been arranged at the time of printing.

The Leinster J4 League Section C 2006/07 entry is the J4 A team, not the J5.

No Leinster team sheet exists for the CYM game.

2006/07 J4/J5 Season Report 2006-07 – J5’s

J5’s – Only had one friendly all season, despite efforts to get more fixtures the J5’s suffered through opposition not having similar playing numbers. Only other involvement was the J5 cup in which we suffered a narrow first round exit and the DP Smyth Cup, in which we finished as runners-up.

Highlight – Organisation of blitz, and competitiveness shown in the blitz.

Lowlight – Exiting the cup in the first round.

To qualify for at least the semi’s in the J4 league.

To increase the player numbers and standard at the J4/J5 level.
