J2 XV — Season 2017/18
One win in Metro Division 2 and relegation to Division 3.
The most difficult season of the period. The J2s opened with a 23–23 draw against Lansdowne and beat Greystones 33–13 in November, but every other league game was lost, and one fixture, against Naas, was conceded. The final game, away to Greystones in March, is also listed as the Division 2 relegation play-off; defeat there sent the J2s down to Division 3. Seapoint won the O'Connell Cup first-round tie 34–3.
