J2 XV — Season 2021/22
Back after the Covid season: fifth in Division 3 and a pre-season cup semi-final.
Rugby returned in September 2021 after a season lost to Covid-19. The 2021 O'Connell Cup was played as a pre-season competition: Seapoint conceded and the J2s lost the semi-final 11–22 at Lansdowne, who went on to win it. In Division 3 they won five (one of them conceded by Tullamore), with home wins over Enniscorthy, Malahide and Terenure, and finished fifth of eight. The home game against Clontarf in January was cancelled because of Covid-19. Old Wesley won the end-of-season cup tie 33–14 on their way to the trophy.
