Youth Awards – season 2025/2026
On Friday, 8th April, our Director of Youth Rugby, Robbie O’Neill hosted the Youth Awards 2025/2026. These awards recognise the achievements of our youth team players for the season. Our incoming Club President, Stephen Shirley was on hand to present the awards.
Robbie O’Neill gave a big thank you to all the coaches, managers, parents and of course players. Thank you also to Director of Rugby, Alan Shirley, Membership Secretary, Vinnie Murray and Gillian for all their help and support through the season.
U13s
A big thank you to Marsella, Moly and Cormac Farrelly for attending, explaining the significance of the Michael Farrelly perpetual trophy for Teammate of the Year and presented the Award to U13 Player, Louie Neary.
Team Manager Andy Neary was on hand to present the U13s with the relevant awards. The A Team narrowly missing out to Malahide RFC in the Division 1 League Final.

Thank you to Sarah Fallon of Women’s Rugby for all her hard work on the U14s, U16s and U18s teams within the club, many of the teams have amalgamated with other clubs to enable them to field full teams. It is no small task developing and maintaining relationships with other clubs and managing the logistics of training and matches.

U18 Girls missed out in the Final to Enniscorthy, finishing on the same points but lost on first try scorer.

Our U14s SMTC coach, Nat Hutchinson gave a roundup of the U14s team, which is an amalgamation of St. Mary’s College RFC and Terenure College RFC. (SMTC)

Eoin Wallace, our U15s coach gave a wrap up of the U15s season. The team played Division 1 League Cup Final V BL Rugby missing out by a couple of points.

Our U16s coach’s, Alan Duggan and Paul Kelly gave the highlight of the 2025/26 season, including the team getting into three cup finals Leinster Youth Cup, Premier League and Metro Cup Finals. (The U16’s won the Metro cup beating Seapoint)

A special presentation was made to John Walsh for an incredible 21 years’ service as Mini/Youth coach/manager by Robbie O’Neill, Thank you very much John!
