St  Mary’s 8 Clontarf 3

The J5s decamped to Templeogue College for a lunch-time kick off on saturday to snatch victory with the last play of the game from a tough and determined Clontarf fifteen. With the sides all level for the vast majority of the match, it looked as though the lads were on course for their second draw in a row until a training-ground move culminated in an easy run-in try for veteran Stephen Joyce who showed that there is life in the old dog yet. Great for the lads to get back to winning ways.
